ST STEPHEN’S BASILICA AND A PARLIAMENT

Two of the country’s most iconic buildings are within a 15-minute walk of each other in the capital. St Stephen’s Basilica is close to the vibrant Deák Ferenc Square, from the top of which you can see the whole city. Not far away is the monumental Parliament, where you can admire the famous Holy Crown.

THE CHERRYTREE BLOSSOM

It’s the best time of year to be here, as the iconic giant Japanese cherry tree near the Liberty Bridge blooms in April. Are there other places to check out? – YES! Hop on the nearby trolley and take your coolest Insta-stories in front of the pink-covered trees on Tóth Árpád Promenade. Walk among the flowers and enjoy the beauty of spring. If you’re already in Buda Castle, explore the area’s historic monuments, walk along the castle walls and take in the views of the Danube and Pest.

Sunset = romance. For the best light, you don’t have to go far to see the colorful cavalcade from the top of Gellért Hill. To complete the evening, we promise you won’t have to climb a mountain to get to our final location.
