The idea of One Dance was born in May 2016 and the first event debuted on 15 September that year, thanks to Dániel Oláh (founder of ONE DANCE) and Szabolcs Veégh (founder of ONE DANCE).

The founders’ concept was to create a party series where people can dance all night long to the hottest beats, not just sitting at the tables. Parties, where it feels like an endless summer, a “beach party without sea”.

Szabolcs spent a year in Chile, where Reggaeton and Latin music have an incredible culture, and he came up with the innovative idea to introduce these music styles to Hungary, where only R’n’B and HipHop were known. On top of it, they planned these parties on Thursdays, to breathe life into the city during weekdays…

From an idea and a dream to reality and after 6 years the following words describe us… “full house, cold drinks, fun, friends, hip shaking, dancing, palm trees, good girls, reggaeton and good music”.

So listen up, because another birthday party is coming up in the Ötkert on 22 September, let’s celebrate together on the beach of the Ötkert, in the shade of the palm trees, with an iced cocktail in our hands!
