The final weekend of September officially marks the beginning of the autumn–winter season at Ötkert. For us, the Season Opening Weekend is a change of seasons: summer nights spent outdoors may be coming to an end, but the parties certainly aren’t.
After summer, it’s easy to feel like Budapest’s nightlife starts to slow down. At Ötkert, however, this is when a whole new chapter begins. Autumn and winter bring a different atmosphere, but the long nights, parties that last until dawn and weekends spent together are here to stay.
The Season Opening Weekend officially kicks off this new chapter. From here, the autumn–winter club season takes us all the way to the end of the year, with plenty of memorable weekends still ahead. And just because the temperatures are dropping doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to partying under the open sky just yet.

One club where the season doesn’t set the rules
Ötkert’s retractable roof is part of the experience all year round. Whenever the weather allows, we can open it up even during the autumn and winter months, bringing open-air clubbing right into the heart of Budapest. And when it gets too cold, we simply close the roof and keep the night going.
So for us, the end of summer doesn’t necessarily mean the end of open-air parties.
And after the Season Opening, there’s hardly any time to slow down. The rest of the year is packed with some of the biggest weekends in the Ötkert calendar, including events that have become traditions over the years.
Autumn nights and Halloween
October brings one of the most anticipated moments of the autumn season: Halloween. For a few nights, Ötkert transforms completely, with themed parties, costumes and a club atmosphere that becomes even more spectacular than usual.Halloween has been one of the highlights of our autumn season for years, and this year we’re once again getting ready to celebrate it with you.

Ötkert turns 16
After Halloween comes a weekend that is particularly special to us: Ötkert’s 16th birthday.
Sixteen years in the life of a club means countless nights, songs, encounters and memories. That’s why our birthday weekend always feels a little different from an ordinary night out. It’s a chance to celebrate everything that has happened over the years, as well as the people who keep coming back to be part of it.The birthday weekend returns this year too, giving us another reason to celebrate together in November.
The final month of the year
December won’t be slowing down either. We’ll continue the season with St. Nicholas and Christmas parties before finishing the month with one of the biggest nights of the year.
The weeks leading up to the holidays are already filled with reunions, nights out with friends and end-of-year celebrations, and naturally, we want to be part of them too.

New Year’s Eve at Ötkert
On December 31, we’ll close out the year together. New Year’s Eve is traditionally one of the biggest nights at Ötkert, and 2026 will be no exception.
We’re planning one final, unforgettable party to say goodbye to 2026 and welcome 2027 together. One more night with a packed dance floor, one last celebration before midnight, and the first moments of the new year spent together.

Summer may be over, but the nights at Ötkert are far from it. The Season Opening Weekend on the final weekend of September officially launches our autumn–winter season, followed by Halloween, our 16th birthday, the festive season and, finally, New Year’s Eve, taking us all the way into 2027.
See you at Ötkert!
